Bio 351 students must learn to identify and name (common name, genus and/or species and family as given below) the plants from each of the three lists - Spring Herbs, Summer Herbs, and Spring/Summer Woodys.
Most of the plants on the lists above (Spring, Summer and Spring/Summer Woodys) can be easily found on the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) Native Plant Species List. Click on the species in question for detailed images and information from the MDC. The MDC Native Plant Species List is an excellent study guide for learning the plants that you are required to identify and name in Bio 351. Also use the Study Mounts, 2X2 Slides and (best of all!)
