This course concentrates on the classification, naming and identification of vascular plants, especially seed plants.  It also examines the historical development of plant taxonomy and its current relationship to the other sciences.   Requirements for credit in the course include a plant collection and participation on several field trips to local natural areas.   Prerequisite: Bio 105.
