Example Entity-Relationship Diagrams
     A teacher participates in many conferences, where the teacher and the conference have various attributes.  The paper_info has 1-to-1 relationships with presentation_info and paper_desc.

    A student may attend multiple previous colleges, obtain multiple degrees and have multiple transcripts from those colleges.  The colleges, transcripts and degrees all have attributes.

A customer places an order, an order contains many items, items are purchased products.  This page describes the various diagrammatic methods used for this simple ER diagram.
