Management Information Systems Homework Solution Movies!

Following are movies (Microsoft media .wmv files) to help understand the process of solving the homework versus simply posting a solved homework assignment for you to figure out how I arrived at that solution.  I hope you appreciate this and use these movies to your benefit.  I suggest you view them, then follow along on your own computer, pausing the movie as necessary.  - Prof. Lewis

HW 4
Analyzing data using Subtotals in Excel (about a 2 MB file, you might use Save As, then view it)
Analyzing data using PivotCharts in Excel (can be much, much easier)
Analyzing data using Office 2007 (that has a different GUI).

HW 5
Getting started with the vendor data for the Supply Chain Management analysis homework.  The movie shows how to calculate the number of days late for each order from each vendor.
Using PivotCharts with averages (instead of sum or count) to analyze supplier delivery performance.
Creating multiple PivotCharts in Excel and/or pasting them into Word.

HW 6:  Microsoft Access (link to homework).
Importing a table of data (a flat file) into Access -- remember to clean the file of extraneous header information before importing.
Generating a query having calculated fields
Generating a report -- try this yourself.

Access Database
Creating the tables for a many-to-many relational database using 3 tables, Students, Classes, and Students_and_classes.  To those students having to cope with Office 2007,  how to create and link these three tables in Office 2007.
Entering data into the tables and creating a query of who is enrolled in each class.
