Body image in college students:  This project is being prepared for submission to a journal: Interesting Stuff!

Emotional Intelligence in middle school students: After two semesters of research on EI and religion with the research teams, the project is next to be prepared for submission!

Student News

Congratulations to the 2009 Research Team for their 2nd place presentation at the 2010 Great Plains conference! The presentation examined 6th-8th grade students on the relationship between religion and emotional intelligence. The team consisted of Tara Cox, Ashanti Hazley, Deanna Knox and Brett Spitzer. Students presenting at Great Plains were Tara Cox and Brett Spitzer.

Congratulations to Kayla Kelder, who completed her Honors Independent Research working with high school students on emotional intelligence and religion. Kayla won a 2010 Midwestern Psychological Association student award for her submission to this year's conference in Chicago!
