EDU  203  Course Schedule
Fall 2008 Semester

By August 29:  Mail in your $9.00 and application for Highway Patrol Criminal Background Check.  This is very important.

By September 5  Applications are due to Tina Dye. This will be explained in the 202 class during the first  week of classes. You cannot be placed in the 203 clinical experience without this information.

By September 24 - All 203 placements will be on Tina Dye's website. Students must introduce themselves to their MWSU supervisor by September 26, 2008.  This can be done by e-mail, phone, or in person.

During the weeks of September 29 until November 21, 2008 - Students will participate in the 203 assigned school observations two hours a day, twice a week.   Students will complete the diversity interview assignment and disposition paper,  and provide a copy to their 202 professor as well as  to their MWSU supervisor.

During the week of December 1-5, 2008 - Students must meet with their MWSU supervisor to review their 203 evaluation, discuss their diversity and disposition papers and turn in their experience timesheet. Students must bring a copy of both their diversity and disposition papers and timesheet to this meeting. The MWSU supervisor will review the diversity and disposition papers and timesheet, initial all and give the them to the Education Department secretaries so they can be placed in the student’s file in the Education Department.  

NOTE: Unless there are extenuating circumstances, you will receive an F for your 203 clinical experience if you do not meet with your supervisor by December 5 2008.
